How many books have you written? Which is your favorite?
I’ve written 38 books, novellas and short stories. It’s so hard to pick a favorite! I’m going to go with Fatal Reaction, The Beginning. I was sitting on the edge of my seat while writing it.
Can you tell me about your book(s) or series?
I write in several different genres under a couple of different names. I write quirky cozy mysteries, young adult paranormal mysteries, scifi/horror, fantasy, comedy, erotica and beginning step by step painting books.
What do/does the title(s) mean? Is there any special meaning behind it?
Fatal Reaction, The Beginning is the first book in my Fatal Reaction series where a virus infects the world. People are growing ill; eyes changing color, burning up with a fever so fierce that it causes them to go crazy, attacking those around them, spreading the infection like wildfire. People are trying to escape the unknown sickness, but there is nowhere to run… nowhere to hide… The only chance for the survival of the human race is to stay and fight. However, they’re unaware of what they’re fighting. What they’re up against is much greater than anything they could ever imagine. This is just the beginning… Could this be the end of humanity? You’ll have to read it to find out. 😉
When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?
I was an Administrative Assistant for a Golf Car Manufacture and was bored at work. I couldn’t just open a book at my desk and read when work was slow, so I decided to write one.
How long does it take you to write a book?
It depends on my work schedule. I’m a single Mom with two kids and sometimes finding time to write can be difficult. It can take me anywhere from a few months to a year to complete a full length book depending on time available.
What would you say is your interesting writing quirk?
I make up my stories as I go along with no idea how the book is going to end. I jump in with a scene in mind and let my imagination go wild. Each day, my story writes itself.
How do your books get published?
I self-publish my books on Amazon and Audible.
Do you hear from your readers much? What kinds of things do they say?
I hear from readers mostly through my Facebook page. I love when a fan reaches out to me.
Any hobbies?
My degree is in Art Studio with a concentration in painting. When I’m not writing, I enjoy painting with acrylics.
Any other info you would like to share?
Each of my books and stories are also available as audiobooks. It’s so much fun listening to a narrator bring characters to life.
